The ILFOCOLOR 400+ 35mm color negative film offers a vintage look and feel to your everyday pictures. Perfect for both beginners and experienced photographers, the ISO 400 rated film performs well in most indoor and outdoor lighting situations. It provides medium to high contrast giving those overcast, moody days a little extra punch.
The medium grain structure adds texture without sacrificing detail. The film’s color biases toward Cyan which tends to mute greens and blues while accentuating reds and yellows.
Lab Scans vs Home Scans
As you can see from the example below there is a big difference between the scan we received from the local lab that processed the film and the scan that was created by us at home using a mirrorless camera and a macro lens. This is not meant to discourage getting Lab Scans but rather illustrate the quality of the film and it's true potential.
